Happy Thanksgiving

We wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

Emily is doing great and is looking forward to seeing her friends in a couple weeks! With the babies "talking" now, the adults may not be able to get any words in!

4 month Update

Keinai had her 4 month check up the other day and she is growing sooooo fast! She weighs 16lbs 10oz and is 27.5 in long! She continues to amaze us every day with how strong she is and how smart she is getting. Its hard keeping up with her sometimes :)

Keiani also recieved her shots and did much better than her 2 month shots. She was a bit fussy for about 10 minutes but by the time we got to the car she was all smiles.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween and I look foward to seeing you all at the reunion on the 2nd of December.

Nova Scotia

Keiani did wonderful on our trip! She hardly made a sound on the plane. Everyone was so impressed on how well she did (I think we were in shock more than anyone else) take off and landings didn't even seem to faze her, I think she actually liked the loud sounds when the plane is gearing up to take off and during landing. The only thing we had a problem with was the 4 hour time change since she wanted to stay up untill 2am for the first few days.

We had a wonderful time and the week went by soooo fast. It is nice to be home though and sleep in our own bed.

We do plan on going back this summer so we will see how fun it is with a 1 year old on a 8 hour flight!

Emily 2 Months

Emily had her 2 month appointment this week, which included her next round of shots. Emily did great! She cried initially, but stopped shortly after Peter picked her up. (Mommy's tears lasted longer than Emily's...). We expected her to be more fussy the night and days following her shots, but if anything she slept more.

At 9 weeks, Emily is 10 lbs 2 oz and 23 inches long.

Reunion

Hey just thought we would volunteer for the next reunion. We have a nice big common room at our Apt. that would work great for a get togehter. Let me know when works for every one and I will reserve it. :0) What was every one thinking? A month 2 or closer to Christmas? I would love to make our own baby food if any one else is interested maybe we could do a little "cooking" party next time.

It was so great seeing everyone again! Our babies "played" so nicely together! Thanks for the wonderful time of sharing experiences and good eats. We are looking forward to getting together again to see how our little ones have grown.

Big Girl!

Keiani had her 2 month check up today and she is sooo big! she is weighing in at 14lbs 4oz and is 24.5in long. Shes in the 99th percentile for her height and weight. She was in the high 80s for her head size. The doctor was suprised how big and strong she was and how well she did with her shots. She only cried for a few minutes before she calmed down and fell sleep.

A tip for every one going into this we were told to give her some baby tylenol (check with your doctor for dosing it goes by weight) and we made sure she was clean and had a full tummy with no burps. we also brought her warm blanket to snuggle up in after wards to soothe her. She's doing well so far we got home and she ate and is now sleeping peacefully hopefully the rest of the night goes smoothly and she doesnt get upset.
